Wading in the Prophetic with Phronesis
Death and Life are in your tongue. As the church moves into a phase of the realm of glory we had never seen before in the history of the Body of Christ, one of the gifts that will find more expression is the prophetic because it is through this gift that we pronounce His will over nations and see it manifest. However, this gift must be handled with wisdom. The gift that we must express with the prophetic is the gift of discernment of spirit, if you are not built with the gospel as taught and demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostles, you will mix so many things up.
One of the things we must understand is the perfect will of God. Once you allow the mind of Christ in you to find expression, you will be able to judge certain realities right in the realm of the spirit. John 10:10 (AMP) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows], this scripture gives you the perfect mind of God to our world. God is not the author of destruction, famine, diseases, sicknesses, plaques, or other evils bewildering this world. This is the mind of Christ, when the Lord shows you a vision of an evil situation coming, you already have an understanding from the word that He does not author evil; then, your assignment is to forestall evil. In forestalling that evil, do not ever come and proclaim the evil revealed, noooooooo, proclaim your verdict from the mind of Christ. Why? Proverbs 18:21 (AMP) ‘’Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words."
You have a quickening Spirit and you have to understand that demons pick up destructive words from your mouth and act on them. Without man permitting words that a spirit can act on, nothing can happen. The moment you say, "You saw an accident at so and so and people should pray against it," you have empowered demons with your words. Rather, this is what the prophet of the Lord you are should say ‘’There shall be safe travels on so and so road. The angels of the Lord are on that road to ensure safety now and always’’. Express your prophetic word in synergy with the mind of Christ in you. Ensure that you speak light and avoid negative words. Angels respond to light, and demons respond to darkness.
Also, if you have studied demonology and the organogram of darkness, you won’t see anything other than evil every time. You do not know what the Lord is doing at any given time, you are not in charge with prophetic words to keep angels ascending and descending over a place; every time, it is a demon here and a demon there. Ha! You are the mouthpiece of God, not that of darkness. Focus on your reality in Christ. Focus on studying the kingdom of light you have translated into. The scriptures say to grow in grace and knowledge of Christ, not in knowledge of demons and darkness. Be so focused on your reality and understand what the Holy Spirit intends to do with the ministry of angels than what satan is doing. If you are focused on God, you can automatically nullify evil plans without even seeing a demon.
Finally, if you are a dreamer, please drop dreams. The Holy Spirit is now in you and He has given you treasures far above dreams. Dreams are extremely unreliable; they are subjected to demonic manipulation and the influence of the unrenewed mind. Dreams were the result of the human spirit’s adaptation to sending information to the soul from the realm of the spirit after a disconnect from God.
