The Wave

Several weeks before the wave started; a series of events that almost took three lives of his relatives and acquaintances, he had an unusual burden to pray. He could not control his body, he was praying in tongues almost all through the day. He would pray into sleep, and as he woke up, he was muttering tongues again. During chores, he is praying, if he is driving, he is praying. The only time he would not pray was when he was having a conversation with another person; even at that, he was muttering tongues until he had to speak. The more he did it, the more strengthened he became, he could not stop. If he needs to drive somewhere, he would rather walk if it is a good distance to walk so that he can have time to pray more. He lost his appetite to eat too, he could go almost a day without eating, It was not something he could control.

The first wave started with his relative, he never planned to be where she would be on that faithful day, but he decided to leave home. She had been briefly ill and recovered well, but she suddenly collapsed that day. She went flat dead, and when he heard the noise, he dashed down to where people had gathered. Of course, he had been praying all day too. He moved there with confidence and laid hands on her. He told them to stop pouring water on her as he commanded life into her. It took a while, but she came back to life. Two days later, she would collapse. He was called, and he was also praying at that moment. She got stabilized afterwards and is enjoying perfect health now.

The second wave was one of his acquaintances, prior to the incident, he had a troubled spirit, and he started praying in tongues until the burden shifted. Some minutes later, she almost collapsed and needed medical attention. She got the medical attention she needed, but it did not end there. A few nights later, he would pray late into the night, and in the early hours of the day, he woke up without any reason to, so he started praying. A few minutes later, his acquaintance developed a serious health crisis, and he was there to help out. He started laying hands and scabashing as he sorted out getting her to the hospital. She got medical attention and returned to health. She is enjoying perfect health now.

The third wave was one of his relatives; he would also collapse. He was not there, but as usual, he was always praying in tongues. People attended to him there and he was back on his feet hours later. The wave did not claim any lives.

Then, the wave moved again. His relative was involved in a huge controversy, but she survived it and came out unscathed with little damage that can be undone with little time. The wave then moved against one of his friendships; the issue started in the middle of his handling the multiple crises that were hitting him. He caved into pressure and said things in annoyance. It strained his friendship. It is the only thing he does not want to lose to the wave; he has stood in the gap for everyone and brought them out, and this will not be an exception. The wave also strained his finances, he was so stretched. He prayed and cried. In one of his prayers, the Holy Spirit told him that the wave was over and that time shall be fully recovered for him. He said the wave has come to prove. He took the lessons.
