The Quickening
Around 7am about a year ago on a fateful morning I received a call from a dear brother In 4 years that we had known each other, He had never called me, we barely spoke even till now He gave me a prophecy The prophecy stirred my faith It literally showed me what God was to do next Few weeks later, A very good friend of mine called me from the UK And she told me the exact same prophecy My heart leaped again and I was very expectant Now, there seems to be a door that opened for that prophecy to start getting fulfilled My heart was on that door and the person was speaking in alignment to that prophecy It was soon to start happening and I was really prepared All of a sudden The door shut In my head, I was like “Holy Spirit, how will you get your word to come to pass, This person was the most visible and clear way to making your word come to pass And I know it Why has this door shut?” The Holy Spirit did not say anything
Now, many months down the line Another door opened I’m literally the person saying no I don’t want to take this opportunity now This same word that I thought wouldn’t come to pass because a door was shut Other doors are now opened and I am thinking of how to manage the doors opening As I listened to the Song “Who is like You” by Dunsin Oyekan this morning The Holy Spirit took me back to that word of Prophecy one year ago My mind had not really conceptualize what God is doing right now So the Holy Spirit is helping my mind to see clearly What He is doing and I didn’t pay attention I don’t think I would have paid attention because I left the wheel to Him He said it, So, the burden to make it happen is on Him Why should I take the wheel if He is in charge? Many of you are this way, stop taking the wheel Let Him handle it Don’t carry a burden that only Him has the capacity to carry You have tried, He didn’t send you, leave the wheel to Him
Do you hear? “Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power. Your right hand, O Lord, has shattered the enemy in pieces. And in the greatness of Your excellency You have overthrown them that rose up against You. You sent forth Your wrath, consuming them like stubble. And with the blast of Your nostrils the waters were gathered together; the floods stood upright like a heap; the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea. The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them, I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.’ But, You blew with Your wind; the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters. Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? You stretched out Your right hand, the earth swallowed them. You in Your mercy have led forth the people which You have redeemed. You have guided them in Your strength unto Your holy habitation. The people shall hear; they shall tremble. Pangs of sorrow shall take hold on the people of Philistia. Then the princes of Edom were terrified. Trembling seized upon the mighty men of Moab. All the people of Canaan shall melt away. Fear and dread shall fall upon them. By the greatness of Your arm they shall be still as a stone until Your people pass over, O Lord, until the people whom You have purchased pass over. You shall bring them and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, the place, O Lord, You have made for You to dwell in; the Sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.
