Why does a believer have recurring dreams despite fasting and praying in tongues for long hours?

A Demon cannot molest a believer full of the Holy Ghost in their dream or by any means. If that happens, the believer is holding on to a belief system that is subjecting his or her spirit to demonic influence. This is also possible if you are not training your human spirit to be subject to the Holy Spirit.

Your human spirit is a being that is educated with your belief system. He responds to his environment (the spirit world) with the information you have equipped him with.

A sister sent me a message, describing her “battle” with dreams for a long time, despite fasting and praying in tongues for long hours. My first question was, “Do you believe that a demon or one stronghold can afflict you?” “Do you believe one dark power can hold you down in life?” I got a mixed answer. Then, I went on to educate her with a new belief system so that she could furnish her human spirit with the new information. Her testimony after one night is attached to this thread.

When the Bible says you have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness and you have been translated into the kingdom of light of God’s dear Son, what do you think that is? That Jesus forgave your sins and left you at the mercy of village people to toy with your destiny? I don’t know whom you have listened to, but you have to choose to believe the scriptures over any preaching that negates your victory in Christ.

Apparently, the stronghold you always believe is in your mind. This is why Paul said you should cast down every imagination that exalts itself above the knowledge of God in your mind. Your human spirit is a victim of your mindset. Your spirit man yields to your belief system. If you believe a demon can afflict you, your human spirit will be powerless in the face of a nonsense spirit. If you believe that your spirit responds to the Holy Spirit, then that is the only Spirit he will respond to.

What to do with reoccurring dreams controlling events in your life?

1. Re-educate yourself, as I have explained: Renew your mind. Read Ephesians 1 & 2, Colossians, Acts, John, 1 Peter 2:9, and 1 Corinthians 6:17.

2. Believe and confess what you have read. Pray in tongues, and confession will start pouring out of your belly.
“You have a superior spirit in you; you are from above; you are above all. You are seated in Christ in heavenly places far above principalities and powers. Your spirit responds to the Holy Spirit alone.”
Once you tell your spirit how to behave with your confession, you will see a quick result.

3. Set your imagination that you want to be interacting with spirits in Zion. Let Hebrews 12:22–24 penetrate into your being.


What do you do when you sleep and you see someone in danger?
Many believers have renewed their minds, and God can communicate some information to them. He trusts them to declare His word and change evil plans. You are not to go on social media and announce that there are five demons released from hell to torment a region. The purpose is for you to give the angels charge to work. The Holy Spirit needs you to make a proclamation so that He can do His work.

When you are praying, the Holy Spirit can show you people with problems, and you can release the word so that angels can act. Evil thrives more when there are no people that consistently pray over people and nations. This is regulated by the Holy Spirit Himself. Do not set your mind to seeing evil; just seek fellowship with the Holy Spirit and let Him do His work. Once you see anything that is not aligned with the word of God, stand and release the word over the people or geographical location. Intercessors and folks with a prophetic inclination understand this more.
