Rest
I used to be very AFRAID of sickness.
When I was working in Lagos, I could take sick leave twice a month, mostly malaria.
Every month, or every two months, or maybe in 3 weeks.
It was random but frequent.
Body pain and allergic reactions too.
I remember a certain time it was every week
Every Friday it will start
And by Monday or Sunday night, I will be fine
This was in senior secondary
On Fridays, it comes with catarrh
Then by Monday, I am good… we go again next week
Then it changed to monthly or every three weeks
My favorite malaria medicine was Lonart
850 naira
Coartem was good but it works slowly
Among my siblings, I was the one that fell sick every time
Everything I remember I am not saving, it’s mostly because of sudden sickness on me or my beloved ones, it was so bad.
However, I saw the ease with which the Apostles and Christ lived, they were not scared of sickness but I was worshipping in a church where people died suddenly due to sickness.
My mum and siblings know that I don’t joke with drugs, I am always willing to swallow so I feel better ASAP.
Anyway, I came to knowledge, and I am waiting for June/July to mark 1 year of no hospital visit. I heal myself now…lol, when I notice symptoms, I don’t pay attention to it or panic because I know what to do. I lay my hand there and speak…again and again, it leaves. Sometimes, I will even do shakara for the symptoms and leave it because when I have it’s time ehn 😂😂
I am so happy… from falling sick almost every time to going months without falling ill, not even using painkillers.
I declare SOS 4:7 to myself a lot and insist that I walk in divine health.
Thank you, Jesus🙌’’
