Predestined
Whoever is not in Christ is not in the will of God, and he or she does not have a destiny or future in Christ. Saul was chosen by God to lead His people when the Israelites said they wanted a king. He was the finest man in Israel, an impeccable young man, he not only had military stature but was one of the finest warriors Israel had. He was just and righteous. But the day he chose his own path without repentance, the kingdom was taken away from him, clearly defining his future by his choice. Saul continued spiralling into the dangerous path and never for once looked back. He spent his remaining days in depression. But something was intriguing about Saul, even after choosing his own path, he wanted to hear the voice of God and peradventure if he had a future in Him. One thing is sure, the moment he chose his path, his future was clearly defined. He made it worse by consulting a medium, that was the height of it. Partnering with a demon. His case worsened afterwards and he died in that state.
While in Christ, you must also consistently walk in your preordained path for the purposes of God to come to pass per time. Paul was sent to the Gentiles and had no business going to Israel to preach the gospel. But due to the zeal he had for his nation, he insisted that he wanted to preach to the Jews. The moment he stepped into Israel, it was as if all supernatural activities around him stopped. Everything started going wrong, and before he could say, Jack Robinson, he was bundled and imprisoned. When the Angel of the Lord spoke with him, he only told him that he would not die there. The same angel that broke off the chains when he and Silas were in prison could not do anything here, why? He left the will of God. The supernatural activities resumed when he left the shores of Israel.
It is simple when you are not in Christ, you do not have a future and purpose in Him. The first step is for the fellow to come into Christ, and then He has a future in Him and the Holy Spirit can unveil that future as the individual grows. The only word and future for anyone who is not in Christ or walking in disobedience is to come into Him and walk in obedience respectively.
