I was given some great news about some of our teenagers today. My heart is leaping for joy as I drown myself in worship. In 2018, I was praying at the topmost part of our local assembly then, I heard a strange word in my spirit. I quickly dashed through the scriptures for the meaning. I understood it perfectly and took it on. A few months later, I had already assembled a group of young lads hungry for God. We met every week for at least two hours. We were spiritually edifying ourselves and standing in the gap for others. It was in that place that we received a prayer for a woman with cancer, and she was healed. We grew, both spiritually and in number. Folks from other denominations joined us. Great friends from the church at the university joined. We will pray in tongues for hours, once a month for six hours.

At the end of the year, we organized a retreat fully funded by me. We fasted, feasted on the word, and prayed in the Spirit for hours. We ate well, too. I made everything comfortable to the best of my ability. God bless my mother; she is a caterer, and she would cook for us for free and give us her work plates and cutleries for free. We recorded quite a lot of miracles, but I had not learned to document miracles then. I remember some parents pushing their stubborn kids to our meeting, and others came with stubborn siblings. I remember sometime in 2019, I travelled to the East for a small gig. The folks did not meet, the youngest amongst us saw me coming to her in a vision, and she said I instructed them to go back and lit the fire again. I was sleeping in my room at Aba, lol. I remember one day, I was not around, the guys prayed until the whole street was shaking, people in the neighbourhood rushed out with lights, and the presiding servants of the church we were using sent all his children to join the folks praying. It was a rain of fire that day. Even during COVID, the fire was burning. We will trek down for hours to make it to the centre because of the lockdown. We did it joyfully.

One of those nights, we were prophesying, and then the Lord started talking to us about the teenagers of the mission, I knew the Lord wanted to do something special with them right there. We took it personally to mentor the teenagers in the Spirit’s way. Prior to that time, some of the guys had been ministering to them. Some gave their lives to Christ. I started teaching them Zoe and growing in the life of God. I would teach for 4 hours sometimes, and no one was tired. The teenagers would still want to wait. If there is any spare time, then they will come around me and the guys, they just want to grow and learn. I filled them up with the Holy Ghost and sometimes soaked ourselves in worship. Three of them had encounters with Jesus. Many of them had other supernatural visitations. They were healings, Most times right there in the service.

Several months later, we faced a very strange persecution, it was from all quarters. Naturally, I am not forceful, and I am wary of human nature’s problems. I learned to deal with it over time. I was so concerned. I received a few calls. We became the subject of preaching too. I was sitting and with our prayer group, someone stood at the altar and said some people are speaking in the language of demons. It happened thrice, I became extremely uncomfortable. I told the guys not to react to anything or any provocation, I was silent but I had a lot to say, but it wouldn’t help the situation. We stopped prayers, everything. It was not healthy for us to be in the middle of a controversy that way. Then, we moved online. We gave it one name like that so that the group will have a name. No one will come to threaten us at home for praying in tongues. We maintained the yearly retreat. Again, I heard a lot of things, when humans get to work, unless the Holy Spirit tells me to work it out, I will allow things to play out, so, I left it. We stopped the retreat too. So, I focused on the online thing; it was what led to Meno today, but the foundational members still cherish the physical, so we are finding our steps to resuscitate it physically and we are back to it.

We were persecuted again on the teenagers. It lead to a lot of things I cannot share publicly, however, I was amazed by what the Lord did in the lives of the teenagers. Some of them were drawn back to never listen or pay attention to us, some were banned from ever moving close to us but some did listen to us. I was told how their lives have transformed over the years today. The ones that we were almost dullard became brilliant suddenly. Over 85 per cent of these teenagers attended government schools where they were taught extremely poorly but these guys never reflected it. Their JAMB score was over the roof for the environment they are growing in. One was even teaching her peers in a private lesson and was being paid for it while she was preparing for the same exam. She got the highest score out of them all. One of the parents made a comment that I was told, I almost cried publicly. This parent opposed the children with everything in her power. I was called to several meetings, it was as if we were a rebellious gang and I was the ring leader. Finally, she believe us and everything we’ve been doing. After the whole report today, we started planning for the future. Today, I am blessing the name of the Lord for them. They have proven the gospel and will continue to prove it. These are the lights of the world. They are Photizo.
