The sickness started after his journey to see her Nigerian-born, Indian-based potential boyfriend collapse.
They met on Instagram and got talking.
She is in an East African country.
A few minutes turned into an hour.
An hour into long hours.
Long hours into night calls.
Sweet talk.
Bonding.
Feelings started growing.
He wanted to see her, and she did too.
Causal calls had grown into feelings
Feelings had grown into yearning for bodies
She got her passport and started processing her visa.
He sent her the money, around $800
The money covered everything she needed to travel, including her tickets.
She went to the embassy.
She knew a guy there, and he was supposed to help her out
However, the guy asked her questions
She lied
She claimed it was for tourism purposes
He was not convinced
But she bowed to the pressure
She explained that she was going to meet a potential boyfriend
The embassy guy told her of its dangers
She assured him it was nothing, and she trusted him, they’d been talking for months and were willing to take it to the next level.
The embassy guy asked the potential boyfriend to send a scanned copy of his passport
He turned it into a fight
She apologised.
She left the embassy for her house
The visa was not approved until the system could capture his details
He later sent a lady’s passport details and claimed it was his fiancee’s sister.
‘’Tell them you are coming to meet her’’ he said
She denied his request
‘’If you are real, send your passport details’’ she said
After much dribbling, their convo faded.
The imagination they’ve built together was over.
The embassy guy said he was an organ harvester
It is the main reason the Visa from her country to India is a war
Young girls are being lured into the country and never to be seen again.

3 weeks later, she got sick.
The doctors felt it was food poisoning
She was treated for it but did not get well
She started getting worse
She dropped in weight drastically
She would have pains all over her body
The kind of pain that would make sitting, walking or lying extremely uncomfortable
She would cry night and day
She had no peace in her members
Her body burns
She itches badly
The doctors suspected cancer and started carrying out tests to determine it
She did a biopsy twice
Doctors felt it was blood cancer
But they discovered nothing
Wow
What could explain a mysterious disease?
She thought of witchcraft
She even met a prophet who prophesied that she had cancer
Not one, or two, several prophets.
God is sending her a message of death.. Wow..
Life seems unfair due to the sickness
She consulted herbalist
Patronized healers
She moved back in with her parents for care
She got born again
Started praying and fasting
Nothing changed.
She felt God was punishing her for past sins before she was born again
She had dreams
Dreams of her habits outside of Christ
This was coupled with nightmares
She moved from one prayer meeting to the other
One program to the other.
She got depressed
She felt life ebbing away from her body
She literally saw herself dying
She had the feeling
She did not want to die.
‘’I see other people’s testimonies,
Can you please pray for me’’ She wrote to Paul

They connected on WhatsApp and scheduled a prayer time.
Spoke a lot of times.
Prayed for her.
He told her to stop fasting
A sick person should not fast
Your body needs all the nutrients it can get
During the intense symptoms, she would call
He would pray and the symptoms would leave.
In the middle of one of those prayers,
He heard the Lord told him;
‘’Serve her communion for seven days’’
They started together
He gave her scriptures to read
Wrote daily declarations and sent them to her.
She started getting better day by day.
Sometimes, she comes back with questions
Somebody told me God said this and that
Her symptoms would come
Paul would tell her to ignore and she had been healed.
It was a battle of the mind for months
After a few weeks, she could go out more comfortably.
Her healing was perfected within a few months.
She has gained her weight back
Enjoying good health and looking radiant
She is healed
