Meal of Dominion — Communion April
Man lives in two realms simultaneously. Man has a spirit because we were created in the image of God. The image of God in us is spirit. Genesis 1:26, John 4:24. Man is the only entity in the universe that has a spirit. Our spirits live in the spirit realm. It is our spirit God connects to, God speaks to our spirit, God is spirit, He dwells in the realm of light in the Spirit, we are a Spirit.
When Adam ate out of the knowledge of good and evil, the Holy Spirit was withdrawn from his spirit. Before Adam participated in the knowledge of good and evil, God gave him dominion Gen 1:26. The dominion is a symbol of rulership and authority over the works of God excluding man. Adam was to rule the earth as led by God. This was the reason he had the Holy Spirit so as to fellowship with God and be trained on how to walk in eternal life — the Holy Spirit.
Adam cut short the training process when he participated in the knowledge of evil and good. The Holy Spirit had to leave immediately, the departure of the Holy Spirit brought many damages to the human race one of such is a deadness to God, we lost the ability to fellowship with God, talk to Him and relate with Him as a friend. Another important thing is that man lost spiritual dominion. The presence of the Holy Spirit in man’s spirit makes him King in the realm of the spirit. The creator of that realm is God and He is the Father of all spirits Hebrews 12:9. Therefore, we have the Father of all spirits inhabiting our spirit man. The presence of the Holy Spirit is the seal of authority and power. We dominate. So, the loss of that spirit in man was tragic.
The final work of Jesus was to send the Holy Spirit into us John 17. The Father is in heaven, Jesus is at His right hand, Holy Spirit is right here in us, He reconnects us back to God, therefore the eternal life we lost in God has been given back to us. The Holy Spirit is back in our spirits. Our seal of authority and rulership in the realm of the spirit is back to us. A Holy Ghost filled believer can never be oppressed by any demon. Haven’t you read that you are seated with Christ far above principalities and powers in the heavenly places? Ephesians 1 and 2. Darkness exists below you, they are not part of your reality in Christ Jesus.
Your reality in Christ Jesus are well documented in Hebrews 12: 22–24. ‘By contrast, we have already come near to God in a totally different realm, the Zion-realm, for we have entered the city of the Living God, which is the New Jerusalem in heaven! We have joined the festal gathering of myriads of angels in their joyous celebration! And as members of the church of the Firstborn all our names have been legally registered as citizens of heaven! And we have come before God who judges all, and who lives among the spirits of the righteous who have been made perfect in his eyes! And we have come to Jesus who established a new covenant with his blood sprinkled upon the mercy seat; blood that continues to speak from heaven, “forgiveness,” a better message than Abel’s blood that cries from the earth, “justice.” ‘
You are the authority in the spirit through Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit at work in you.
The other realm man is living in is the earth, this is why we have our physical bodies, to be able to live on earth. The earth was created for us by God, however, we cannot govern it without God, in fact, we are to govern the earth as led by Him, that was the training, Adam missed through the fall. We are to impact the earth with the life God has given to us. One of the tools for our dominion on earth is wisdom. The Holy Spirit residing in us is the fullness of Father John 3:34. So, resident in the Father is wisdom, the entity that has made that possible is the Holy Spirit, He is called the Spirit of wisdom. The Spirit of wisdom is resident in you, therefore walk in wisdom.
Holy Spirit is the only one that can teach you how to walk in wisdom. This is why fellowshipping with Him is important. The business idea and mode of operations you need to run the business will be shown to you by Him (Holy Spirit). There are some of you reading right now, you have novel ideas in you, you feel uneasiness and rumblings in your spirit, the ideas want to burst forth, you can birth those ideas as you live and walk in the Spirit. He is the Spirit of Wisdom. Some of you are stuck in your businesses and workplaces, the Spirit of wisdom will lead you and show you what to do.
This takes us to the final discussion about man. We have discussed the two realms man lives in simultaneously and He has bodies to function in both realms. But there is an agency that serves as an intermediary between the two bodies, it is the soul. Your soul comprises your mind, will and emotion. The soul aids communication between our physical bodies and our spirit bodies and vice versa. Remember that God relates to only your spirit through the Holy Spirit but the information needs to be communicated to your consciousness. This is where your mind comes to play. It is important that you daily renew your mind with the word of God, this is so important to our dominion, this is how we make our minds to be conformed to the thoughts of Christ. The wisdom of the Holy Spirit will need to find expression in our minds. Our thoughts must change to align with that of God. We must see as the Spirit sees. Your mind must be renewed. Commit yourself to the word.
Finally, live a life of prayer. A life that is flexible to praying in the Spirit. By Praying in the Spirit, we are transformed from within us, our bodies are also subjected to the power of the Holy Ghost and we live divine health. By Praying in the Spirit, the mind of God is deposited into us, we commune with that Father, we walk in His perfect will, we are empowered to carry out His will, and we also continually live in the Spirit. You will perpetually walk in your divine purpose daily as you commit yourself to the ministry of the word and prayer.
