He was dubbed a demon by his church pastor and members

Labelled a fornicator

He was stripped of all privileges and access to the people

They saw him heal the sick

They saw him raise the dead

It was supposed to stir up faith in them but rather jealousy

It all started when he came back to the church after 6 years away due to his education

He saw the coldness

The sloppiness

The absence of fire

All kinds of unpleasant events befell the congregation

He gathered a group of young folks together

They started praying for two hours every week

They would pray in the Spirit, minister to the Lord

Sometimes, they would pray daily for 21 days

And ended it with a 6-hour prayer stretch

The first prayer request they received was for breast cancer

The cancer was healed

All kinds of miracles started happening

A child was delivered from the clutches of ritualists

The ritualists slaughtered other kidnappees in his presence

It was his turn to be slaughtered but they made a die minute decision to return him home

It was a gathering of the Spirit.

There was a time when at least 2 persons would die in the church monthly

They came together and prayed and it stopped

They started growing in number and strength

From 4 to 6. 6 to 10...

Young folks from other denominations started joining them

Pastors would send their children to join them

They made waves.

He would hold an annual retreat

Bring everyone together for 3 days

All for free

He would fund the whole program alone by the help of the Holy Spirit

They lacked nothing at the retreat

He ensured that.

He would invite other fire ministers to teach

At nights, they would spend time ministering to the Lord for hours non-stop

It was a lifetime experience.

Suddenly, dissenting voices arose

They were from the same church

The same church he is training their children and teaching them Christ

They accused him of changing the ancient pattern

No one prays in tongue in the church

How could he pray in tongue and lead others to do the same

''I learnt that you gather people together to pray in tongues every week

Who allowed you to do that?

Is the pastor at the mission house?

Is he looking at you guys while you do the wrong things?

Why are you changing the old ways that the church founders laid down?

I am taking this to the church council

The church council will surmon you'' says a woman(church member) to him on a phone call.

He and the group became a subject of preaching for many Sundays

He is a demon

They pray in demonic language

The group was accused of potentially sleeping with each other

They became a subject of gossip and rumour mongering in the church

Many resented him

Some loved him

''They were all witnesses of the power of the Holy Spirit

But they are denying the power above'' he wondered.

He had many plans for evangelism

Especially teenagers

To bring more youths to the church since he teaches that department

All kinds of healing happened in the department too

The teenagers were healing themselves

Some got healed in teachings without praying for them

They were supernatural encounters

Some met Jesus

He would teach them for 4 hours at a stretch, and no one would be tired

They would always want more

The dissenting voices continued

The whole class was shut down and closed

The dissenting voices said they were doing rubbish and nonsense

The dissenting voices embarrassed him

He had had enough of their shenanigans

They soon moved online to pray and teach

No one can disturb them there.

The move of the Spirit continued.

An interesting event started happening

The number of youths in the church started spiralling down

It happened so quickly and in a few years

They conceived an idea

To start an independent service for the youth

He was chosen to lead them

The dissenting voices arouse again

Sometimes to support

Sometimes to pull down

The dissenting voices called him unprintable names.

Many picked up fight with him

He didn't understand it

It was too much.

He decided enough and left.

''The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD's doing; It is marvellous in our eyes. This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.''
