Christ in Me — Homo Christus
At the last count, the ministers and I have brought 10 dead bodies back to life. This happened in less than 2 years.
As of 9 years ago, I was moving from one program to another, searching for the anointing and impartation.
In my last 2 years at the university, our VC (of blessed memory) had a plan to bring all the popular men of God in the country to the school, and he did bring them all. As he was implementing his plan, the JCCF too was not slacking. They brought every available apostle from all over Nigeria.
I didn’t miss those meetings except one. I would kneel and cry out loud, "Lord, anoint me.” I have shared with you here how Pastor Kumuyi stirred my desire towards the supernatural. It was one of those meetings our VC initiated. I was standing with thousands of people on the crusade and listening to him. He did a very simple preaching and lifted up his voice “Father, thank you for the saved souls. Right now I ask, Let the blind see, let the dead rise, let the lame walk, let the deaf hear, let the dumb speak, in Jesus name.” A resounding amen from the congregation followed.
Then, I saw a strange sight, there was a lame man close to me, he had walking sticks, and he started vibrating on the floor. After a short while, there was a huge noise. HE WALKED. My body started vibrating, and I had goosebumps all over me. I cried. I am experiencing the same power flow as I type this. He put the sticks on his head as he raced to the front. A blind woman was healed too. All kinds of miracles happened.
“Who is this man that the blind and the lame obey?" I pondered. What is this? I was filled with awe and at the same time had many questions. As I made my way out of the crusade ground that night, I had these words on my lips; “There is something that this man knows that the congregation do not know. I am going to find it and also walk in the miraculous.”
In 2020, I met my teacher, @GbengaWemimo. He taught me Christ's Consciousness. It was the first time someone would teach me the outworking power of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. “You shall receive power when the Holy Ghost has come upon you”. That is it, that is the knowledge you need. If you cannot believe that you’ve been endured with power by the Presence of the Holy Ghost in you, you cannot kickstart your journey of walking in the miraculous. The Presence of the Holy Spirit in Jesus is what made Him Christ, Christos in Hebrew, meaning the anointed One. Christ in you, the manifestation of Glory. Christ is in you, Christos, the anointed One. You are now anointed. @GbengaWemimo taught me Christ Consciousness; he simplified the anointing for me. The fruits are what you see in our ministry today. I challenge you today: look for that sick person around you and lay your hand on him or her. Heal the sick. You will see virtue flow out of you. Step out.
